Who were the first nobles in Vienna? What influence did they have on the Habsburgs? Why were so many people ennobled in 19th-century Vienna? Where did these "blue bloods" live, and why are they called that? When were titles of nobility banned in Austria? Come along on an interesting walk past Vienna's most beautiful palaces.


Start: At the Liebenberg Monument at Universitätsring 8-10, 1010 Vienna (in front of the Mölker Bastei, U2 Schottentor).


End: Albertina at Albertinaplatz 1, 1010 Vienna (near the State Opera, U1/U4 Karlsplatz).
