About the event
The Prater is usually associated with the Wurstelprater amusement park, but it has much more to offer. We explore the green side of Vienna's largest park, the oldest bridge in Vienna, the modern campus of the Vienna University of Economics and Business, trot past the Krieau racecourse, get to know the Viertel Zwei district, and end at Café Little Britain on Engerthstraße.
Since we keep encountering British traces in Vienna during this tour, a "British ending" seems appropriate.
Anyone who would like to can join us for afternoon tea at Café Little Britain www.little-britain.at (consumption not included in the tour).
Start: in front of the planetarium at Kaiserwiese, Milestone Square at Oswald-Thomas-Platz 1, 1020 Vienna, (U1/U2 Praterstern)
End: Café Little Britain, Engerthstraße 249, 1020 Vienna (U2 Krieau)
Duration: approx. 2 hours, approx. 5 km, medium-length walk, wheelchair accessible, (partly nature trails in the Prater)
